KTZ: grain cargo transportation is carried out in full

At NC KTZ JSC, the issues of transportation of socially significant cargo, such as grain and milled products, are under special control.

The transportation of grain and milled products is coordinated daily by the KTZ operational grain headquarters. Regular meetings are held jointly with interested government agencies and shippers. For the timely acceptance and registration of wagons, round-the-clock work of operational grain groups has been organized in the Akmola and Kostanay freight transportation departments.

Organizational and technological measures are being taken to organize the uninterrupted transportation of grain cargo. For the efficient and accelerated dispatch of new harvest grain, KTZ forms and dispatches block trains. If shippers ensure rhythmic loading and compliance with the wagon turnover, the new harvest will be transported by the existing fleet of grain trucks and covered wagons. To ensure exports in the European direction, KTZ attracts an additional fleet of grain carriers from the Russian Federation.

In September-October and 10 days of November, transportation of new-crop grain via the KTZ network increased by 43%, exceeding 2.5 million tons.

Domestic grain shipments increased by 20%, to 534 thousand tons. Exports increased by 50%, to 2 million tons. Shipments of new-crop grain to traditional Central Asian markets increased by 37% and exceeded 1.2 million tons. Grain transportation via the KTZ network via the port of Aktau in the direction of Iran increased 30 times. Grain exports to Afghanistan increased by 64%.
