KTZ expands the geography of transportation from China

In Nanjing, Jiangsu province (PRC), Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Logistics of NC KTZ JSC Yerlan Koishibayev met with the heads of the Department of Transport of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the largest state trade group in the province, Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group.

During the meeting, KTZ Express JSC and Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express signed an Agreement on Strategic Cooperation and reached an agreement on the joint organization and dispatch of container trains through Kazakhstan, including along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).

Jiangsu province (population 85 million people) ranks second in economic development in the PRC with a GDP of $1.8 trillion at the end of 2023 and is a cargo-generating region that provides 15% of the entire industry of the PRC and 3% of the world industry.

Jiangsu SOHO Holdings Group includes 380 enterprises, including the logistics platform Jiangsu International Rail Freight Express, which sends more than 2000 trains annually in western and eastern directions.
Since the beginning of this year, Yuxinou and KTZ have organized a joint service for TITR from Nanjing (PRC) to Absheron (Azerbaijan) with delivery times on average up to 18 days.

Let us recall that since the beginning of 2024, KTZ has reached agreements with the logistics platforms of Xi’an, Jiangsu, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Chongqing to organize and dispatch 3500 transit container trains through the territory of Kazakhstan, which is about 350 thousand TEU.
