Among the most sought-after specialists are track fitters, telecommunications electromechanics, wagon inspector-repairers, wagon conductors, assistant locomotive drivers, cargo and luggage handlers, and rolling stock repair mechanics. These professions play a key role in ensuring train safety.
At the meetings, schoolchildren were introduced to the vacancy website Job.railways.kz, which helps them find jobs at KTZ, and were told how to register, create a resume and apply for a vacancy. Railway workers expressed their readiness to support schoolchildren in choosing a future profession and providing internships.
At the end of the meetings, applicants were given information booklets.
