KTZ automates the accounting of workwear and personal protective equipment

KTZ-Freight Transportation LLP carries out an automated process of planning, accounting and control of workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE). The accounting functionality is implemented in the SAP program. The innovation allows you to track the life cycle of workwear, keep track of the sizes and anthropometric data of manufacturers, and plan the purchase of workwear and PPE.

 Automation affects the planning process for purchasing workwear and personal protective equipment in the amount of 45 thousand rubles. Suppliers do not allow mis-grading or under-staffing in the warehouse. With the help of automation, planning of workwear will become transparent and a unified database will be created on the sizes of employees, employees in workwear and PPE, purchasing documents and the issuance of workwear to employees.

Automatic accounting is being implemented in the initiative branch of KTZ - “Directorate of Automation and Digitalization” under the leadership of the chief engineer of KTZ – Freight Transportation LLP (GP) Marlen Kokrekbayev and using the structural indicators of the GP.
The introduction of automated accounting of paper tissue, a human factor, frees up resources, so that manufacturers have time to do quality work on others.

At the same time, the work schedules of each department are strictly observed. Thus, annual personnel services update information on the size of manufacturers. The accountant monitors receipts and writing, the buyer makes timely purchases, the storekeeper carries out acceptance and scheduling.

“Providing workwear on time depends on good planning. It cannot be done without automation. We, as the department responsible for the automation process, looked at all the automation possibilities and decided on the possibility of launching this project. This project is unique in that literally all departments worked together in it. As a result, we get a great effect from the investment project, and each employee of our company will be provided with the proper protective clothing,” said Almagul Shunshalina, chief manager of the department for the development of administrative communication systems of the Directorate of Automation and Digitalization of NC KTZ JSC.

A similar program has already been implemented in the Backbone Network Directorate.
