KTZ and RZD signed an agreement on strategic cooperation in the transport and logistics sector

NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC and JSC Russian Railways signed an Agreement on strategic cooperation within the framework of the state visit of the President of Russia V. Putin to Kazakhstan.

The parties intend to synchronize work to increase the capacity of nine interstate junction points. It is planned to modernize the railway infrastructure of border stations, develop digitalization of transportation and cross-border operations to form a single digital space.

The implementation of the measures will increase the efficiency of trans-Eurasian corridors, including increasing the volume of export and transit traffic in the East-West direction and the International North-South Transport Corridor.
