KTZ and MDDIAI discussed issues of digitalization of the railway industry

KTZ hosted a meeting of the company’s management with the Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin.

The minister was presented with digital solutions aimed at increasing the efficiency of railway transport. With the involvement of world leaders in the field of IT and telecommunications, KTZ is working to launch a digital trade corridor along the TITR and introduce a system for the efficient use of locomotives. It is also planned to introduce artificial intelligence technologies on the railway. New solutions will increase railway capacity, optimize fuel consumption, improve train safety and customer satisfaction.

In addition, the meeting discussed issues of connecting passenger trains to satellite Internet, interaction with government bodies of Kazakhstan on organizing electronic data exchange with border states.
