KTZ and Maqsut Narikbayev University signed a memorandum of cooperation

NC KTZ JSC continues to actively work to improve the level of human resources of the company. In 2023, the Roadmap for interaction between NC KTZ JSC and specialized educational institutions for 2023-2024 was approved. The 23 memorandums of cooperation were concluded with educational institutions of the country.

On February 1 of this year, a ceremony was held to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the field of personnel training and advanced training in personnel training between NC KTZ JSC and Maqsut Narikbayev University. The purpose of the memorandum is to develop and strengthen relationships in the field of education and training of qualified specialists for the railway industry of Kazakhstan.

- The railway plays a key role in the development of the country's economy. And for its successful functioning, we need not only modern technologies and infrastructure, but also highly professional personnel. It is human resources that are the basis for the development of the industry,” noted Serik Keulimzhayev, head of the staff of NC KTZ JSC, during the signing ceremony of the memorandum.

Cooperation will contribute to the development of specialized educational programs and retraining of personnel, which will strengthen the professional skills of KTZ employees, thereby improving the quality of the railway services provided.
Maqsut Narikbayev University students will have a unique opportunity to undergo an internship at one of the leading companies in the country, gain practical skills and knowledge, which will significantly improve their employment after graduation.

Provost of Maqsut Narikbayev University Sergey Pen noted the importance of this partnership: “This cooperation opens up new horizons for our students and teachers. We are confident that joint work with KTZ will bring tangible benefits to both our university and the railway industry of Kazakhstan as a whole.”
