Kazakhstan presented its logistics, investment, trade and industrial capabilities to visitors to the 6th China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

As part of the delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, representatives of NC KTZ JSC took part in the presentation of our country’s stand.

It was noted that Kazakhstan strives to become a transport and logistics hub of international importance. Since 2014, a logistics terminal has been operating in the port of Lianyungang, created jointly with Chinese partners.

This spring, construction began on a Kazakh terminal in the dry port of Xian. It is planned: to build 1300 km of new railway tracks; open the 3rd railway checkpoint on the border with China; build new dry ports “Bakhty” and “Kalzhat”.

Favorable conditions are created in Kazakhstan for the transportation of goods in the direction of Europe and the Middle East.
