Kazakhstan grain producers are developing new sales markets

Over the 10 months of this year, the KTZ network has seen an increase in exports of many grain cargoes and the development of new transportation routes. For example, corn grain exports increased by 1.5 times and amounted to 117 thousand tons. Transportation to
Tajikistan increased by 38%, to Uzbekistan - more than 3 times. This year, corn grain transportation to Iran began. Lentil exports increased 7 times, to 80 thousand tons. The lion's share goes to European countries through Russian ports.

A threefold increase in pea grain transportation is noted. Afghanistan increased imports from Kazakhstan by 2 times, Uzbekistan by 3 times.

Rice producers increased exports by +47% (52 thousand tons) with the development of new markets in Azerbaijan and Belarus.

Kazakhstani barley has again begun to be imported by Iran with an 8-fold increase over the past two months. Over 10 months, barley export transportation amounted to 710 thousand tons (with a growth of 69%).

KTZ is taking the necessary measures to increase grain exports in all directions. The wagon and locomotive fleet is maintained in the required quantity, close work is being carried out with traders and involved government agencies.
