Kazakhstan, China and Russia strengthen ties in e-commerce

28-11-2024

In Ufa (Russia), within the framework of the XX anniversary Forum of Interregional Cooperation at the level of the heads of state of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, an agreement on cooperation in the field of e-commerce was signed. The parties to the agreement were KTZ Express JSC (a subsidiary of NC KTZ JSC), Polyking New Horizons Technology Industry Co., Ltd. (China) and Slavtrans-Service JSC (Russia).

The document provides for the joint development and implementation of innovative solutions in the field of e-commerce, including the improvement of logistics processes on the China-Kazakhstan-Russia route. This agreement strengthens economic ties between Kazakhstan, Russia and China, opening up new horizons for participants in cross-border trade and contributing to the dynamic development of the e-commerce market.

The signing was a continuation of a successful partnership developing on the basis of the CRK Terminal joint venture, located in the Moscow region (Russia) at the Selyatino station.

"Together with our kazakhstani and Chinese partners, we are trying to meet the new challenges of the modern environment. The unified digital platform developed within the framework of our cooperation allows us not only to take into account traditional cargo data, such as the wagon number and characteristics, but also to transfer the most important information from Chinese customs to Kazakh, and then to Russian. This makes it possible to work effectively in the e-commerce format, where one transport batch can contain thousands of individual product items focused on the needs of a modern Chinese importer and domestic exporter," said Pavel Strepkov, General Director of Slavtrans-Service JSC.
