Zhambyl railway workers and employees of the linear police department conducted a joint raid to prevent non-occupational injuries at Taraz station.
The event was held in the city districts: Abay crossing and Zalineyny (unofficial name of part of the city), where, despite the presence of a pedestrian bridge and overpass, people continue to cross the railway tracks, risking their health and lives.
The initiators of the raid held a preventive conversation with violators who crossed the tracks directly on the rails, handed out information leaflets reminding them that the railway is a high-risk area and where they need to be attentive and vigilant.
According to the chief engineer of the Zhambyl freight transportation department Duisenbek Sydykov, such raids are held regularly. Railway workers also conduct safety lessons in city schools, preventive talks at crossings with car drivers about the importance of following traffic rules.
"We urge city residents to be extremely vigilant near railway infrastructure facilities. Haste and indiscipline can lead to tragedy," he said.
Deputy Chief of the Linear Police Department of Taraz station Maksat Duisembiyev reminded that for crossing railway tracks in the wrong place, a warning is provided for the first time, and then a fine.
KTZ pays special attention to the prevention of accidents on the railway. Railway workers conduct explanatory work in all regions of the country.
