It is planned to transport 4 million tons of cargo along the TITR route in 2024

Meetings of the Working Group and the General Meeting of the International Association “Trans-Caspian International Transport Route” were held in Ankara (Turkey).

At a meeting of the General Meeting, by a unanimous decision of 25 participants (the largest international and regional organizations in the field of transport and logistics from different countries), the head of NC KTZ JSC was again re-elected as Chairman of the Management Board of IA TITR for 3 years.

A round table was also held on the topic “TITR: trends, challenges and prospects” with the participation of representatives of financial institutions (EBRD, World Bank), the global multimodal digital platform DTC Global, shippers from Kazakhstan and Turkey.
During the event, plans and tariffs for 2024 were approved, further steps to intensify activities and prospects for expanding routes were discussed.

For reference:
In 2023, more than 2.7 million tons of cargo were transported along the TITR route, which is 86% more than in 2022. The long-term plan for 2024 is about 4 million tons.
