Grain transportation by rail increases in November

Grain transportation via the KTZ network increased by 53% over the 10 days of November 2024 compared to the same period last year and amounted to more than 280 thousand tons. Including 190 thousand tons sent for export, which is 77% higher than last year.

Grain exports to Central Asian countries increased by 47% (119 thousand tons), to Afghanistan - by 5 times. Transportation in the direction of Iran via the port of Aktau increased by 9 times. Transit through Russia increased by 7 times.

Grain transportation within the country during the reporting period increased by 19%, to 91 thousand tons.

For November, the Company has allocated a grain transportation plan in the amount of more than 2 million tons, of which 1.6 million tons for exporters, including 1.4 million tons in the direction of the Saryagash border crossing. However, the fulfillment of the plan by shippers for 10 days is only 42%, exports are carried out at 35%, through Saryagash at 27%.
