The forum of trade union workers of KTZ gathered more than 100 participants

A three-day training Forum of trade union workers of NC KTZ JSC was held in Astana, which brought together more than 100 participants from all regions of Kazakhstan.

The large-scale event was organized by NGO Kazproftrans together with the Human Resources Management Department of NC KTZ JSC. A rich training program was provided for the leaders of primary trade union organizations of structural divisions of the Directorate of the Trunk Network, KTZ - Freight Transportation LLP, other branches and subsidiaries, 80% of which are chairmen of trade union committees not exempt from their main activities.

The venue was the Center for Assessment and Development of Railway Transport Personnel. For three days, thematic master classes, lectures, trainings, panel sessions and exchanges of views on current issues were held here. Trade union leaders learned effective communications, conflict management and efficiency, stress resistance, discussed changes in the country’s labor legislation, social code, as well as the norms of the new Collective Agreement, anti-corruption measures and others.

– We received a lot of useful information related to our immediate work. I have been heading the primary organization of our distance for three years, where I started my career as an electrician. Today, 100% of our company's employees are members of the trade union. I believe that the main task of trade union leaders is to protect the rights of workers, to establish communication between workers and the management of enterprises, because we bear a joint responsibility with the company for maintaining stability in the teams,” shared the chairman of the primary trade union organization of the Kushmurun power supply distance of the Kostanay branch of the main network, Ruslan Sharipov. – I would like to thank the organizers for the non-standard format of the forum, the rich program, the opportunity to expand my knowledge base, meet colleagues from other regions, exchange opinions on various issues, and strengthen ties.
