The employees of the Paramilitary Railway Guard celebrated their professional holiday

In honor of the Day of the formation of the Paramilitary Railway Guard (VZhDO), a solemn award ceremony was held for employees who demonstrated high professionalism, dedication and courage in the performance of their duties. The "Uzdik Kuzetshi" badge of distinction in a new design was presented to honored security guards of the branches of VZhDO LLP.
Among those awarded was Toktaubai Tiyanakov, a security guard of the shooting team of the Almaty branch of VZhDO LLP, who saved a person's life in January 2023 by warning him of danger in time. Also, the "Uzdik Kuzetshi" badge was awarded to the senior security guard of the shooting team of the Pavlodar branch Mergalym Seitov, who provided first aid to an injured colleague in January 2022.
The heroic deeds of Meirkhan Zhakasov from the Semey branch did not go unnoticed. In 2021, he prevented the theft of track superstructure parts, and in 2022, he detained violators who had stolen ferroalloys.
In 2024, Nurlan Tykhmetov, a security guard at the Karaganda branch, prevented the theft of coal and diesel fuel. His colleague from the Akmola branch, Sergey Lozinsky, prevented a fire at Astana station in April 2024. Bauyrzhan Tatymbetov, a security guard at the Taraz branch, also prevented the theft of cargo, coal, scrap metal, and diesel fuel in 2024.
The VZhDO employees were also awarded the "Uzdik Kuzetshi" badge for their long-term service and significant contribution to the company's development. Among them is the security guard of the Turkestan branch Bakhtiyar Babakhanov, who has been working on the railway for 34 years, the security guard of the Kostanay branch Asylbek Baikanov (17 years old), the senior security guard of the Aktobe branch Mustafa Zhanuzakov (29 years old), the security guard of the Atyrau branch Orak Dauletbayev (18 years old) and the security guard of the Dostyk branch Tursyn Bai (13 years old).
The Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance Bibizhan Sadvakassova was awarded the "Honorary Railwayman" badge.
In addition, the event included the opening of the VZhDO Museum, where exhibits collected from all regions were presented. The museum demonstrates the rich history of VZhDO, which dates back more than a century, and serves as a symbol of the dedication and courage of the employees. The exhibition presents examples of security equipment from various historical periods.
Also, as part of the celebration, the keys to new service vehicles were handed over to security guards-drivers working in the Akmola, Karaganda and Kostanay branches. This year, the fleet of the mobile group service was replenished with 26 new vehicles.
