A collection of unique materials of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan decorated the Nurly Zhol railway station complex

On August 30, 2024, a presentation of the socio-cultural project "Kazakhstannyn Ulttyk Kazynasy" will take place in the Nurly Zhol railway station complex.

The event was attended by Vice Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maksat Kaliakparov, Vice Minister of Information and Public Development Kanat Iskakov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of NC KTZ JSC Talgat Aldybergenov, Deputy Akim of Astana Yerik Meirkhanov, President of National Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Islambek Salzhanov, Deputy Head of the Directorate for the Preparation and Holding of the 5th World Nomad Games Ablai Kondybyaev and others. 
 

The project was initiated by NC KTZ JSC represented by the branch "Directorate of the Main Network" and implemented with the participation of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the management company TCS Engineering LLP and the advertising operator MYD Production LLP of the Nurly Zhol railway complex.

The scientific concept and design solution of the project were developed by the team of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Today, the Nurly Zhol waiting rooms are decorated with 40 information modules with professionally executed visualization of exhibits of historical and cultural heritage from the collections of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The series of information modules is presented in 3 languages and consists of the following thematic sections: "The Great Silk Road", "Ulug Ulus", "Kazakh Khanate", "The Spiritual World of the Kazakhs", "The Wisdom of Traditions and Customs of the Kazakh People", "The Nature of Kazakhstan", "The Philosophy of Kazakh Cuisine".
 

The "Kazakhstannyn Halyk Kazynasy" project was implemented in the year of the 120th anniversary of the Kazakhstan railway and the 10th anniversary of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is also timed to coincide with the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the World Nomad Games in Astana. 

The organizers believe that the expositions will attract the attention of passengers and guests of the capital and allow them to immerse themselves in the world of Kazakh culture. In the waiting rooms, you can see fragments of paintings by famous artists, images of museum exhibits, learn information about significant events, historical figures, cultural concepts of the material and spiritual world of the Kazakh people. The organizers believe that this practice of popularizing cultural values will become one of the effective ways to form a cultural environment, preserve the identity and historical memory of Kazakhstanis.
