The capacity of Arys station has been increased by 20%

KTZ completed the first stage of development of the Arys station, which made it possible to increase the station's capacity by 20% - from 41 to 57 pairs of trains per day.

The Directorate of the Main Network has restored two parks of the station's even sorting system. These important areas of the Arys station were mothballed in 1992. Previously, three unsuccessful attempts were made to restore them.

On behalf of KTZ management, a large-scale modernization of the station began in December last year. In four months, 12 tracks with a total length of 13.5 km were repaired, 10 thousand cubic meters were dumped. meters of crushed stone ballast, replaced with new 16 turnouts.

As part of the project, 54.5 km of cable were laid, signaling, centralization and blocking equipment was installed (more than 400 items in total), 6 carriage retarders, a transformer for power supply to the compressor station, 280 LED lamps.

Thanks to the efforts of over 180 workers of track facilities, power supply facilities, signaling and communication distances Arys, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Zhambyl, the work was completed in the shortest possible time.

On April 30, 2024, the first train from the station was disbanded through the restored even-numbered hill. Turkestan.

The reconstruction of the hump increased the station's processing capacity from 3306 to 5250 cars per day (by 55%), and also made it possible to form homogeneous trains to speed up border control at the Saryagash international railway station.

The well-coordinated work of supply personnel, engineering and production workers ensured that the task was completed on time.
