The national company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" decorated the capital's "Railwaymen's Square", located near the "Triumphal Arch" monument, with a series of sculptures symbolizing the professions of the steel mainline for the Day of Transport Workers and in honor of the 120th anniversary of the Kazakhstan Railways.
The opening ceremony was held with the participation of industry veterans and representatives of the management of "NC "KTZ"JSC. It is noted that each sculpture emphasizes that the main thing in any profession is working people. The installed composition presents small architectural forms of a conductor, a machinist and a trackman.
The author of the architectural forms is the famous sculptor, Laureate of the State Prize Murat Mansurov.
It is significant that the forms are made of bronze, as a sign of the power of the railway mainline - the backbone of the country's economy.
