Akmola railway workers became winners of the republican IT seminar

The IV republican educational training seminar was held in the capital, dedicated to the functioning of automated control systems and information systems in the field of freight transportation. The event was the finale of a series of regional trainings held online. The republican training was attended by 6 teams-winners of regional seminars from Mangistau, Shymkent, Karaganda, Semey, Akmola and Zhambyl freight transportation departments.

The main goal of the training was to improve theoretical and practical knowledge on the functioning of automated control systems and information systems used in freight transportation.

"In the context of the digital transformation of the industry, such events play a key role in training and exchange of experience among specialists. In addition, the training discussed modern trends and solutions in the field of digitalization to improve the efficiency of rail transport and ensure transportation safety,” said Zhazira Omirzhanova, Chief Manager of the Department of Technological Systems of the Transportation Process.

According to the seminar participants, digitalization helps to significantly improve the efficiency of transportation, optimize logistics and reduce risks associated with the human factor.

The training seminar demonstrated a high level of training of the participants and interest in the digitalization of the industry.

Following the seminar, the winners were determined. The first place was taken by the team of the Akmola branch of the Freight Transportation “Sinegorye”, the second place went to the team of the Semey branch of the Freight Transportation  “Abai”. The third place was taken by the team “Caspian Leaders” from the Mangistau branch of Freight Transportation.  

The seminar brought together about 100 specialists: team members, experts from among the regional team members, employees of the KTZ branch - "Main Computing Center", the information security service, "TransTeleCom" JSC, representatives of the risk management and personnel and social work departments of KTZ-Freight Transportation.

The event allowed not only to exchange knowledge and experience, but also to identify key areas for the development of innovative solutions in the field of transportation. The meeting was organized by the department of technological systems of the transportation process of KTZ-Freight Transportation.
