The administrative building and the locomotive brigade rest house opened their doors at the Saryozek station

The renovation of the Locomotive Crew Rest House at the Saryozek station has been completed. Locomotive crews from the Almaty, Matai and Ushtobe depots rest here between trips. On average, 10–15 teams, up to 30 people, stop per day. The total area of the holiday home is over 600 sq.m.

Previously, the building of the Rest House was mothballed due to unsatisfactory condition. Locomotive crews stayed in rented premises.

  Last year it was decided to restore the building. The first block of the building with an area of over 552 square meters was dismantled. m. The second and third blocks have been repaired. The foundation structures were strengthened, the roof, windows and doors, and the wooden base of the floor were dismantled. Ceramic tiles are laid in the corridors and sanitary rooms, and laminate flooring is installed in the recreation areas.

Replacement of utility networks (heating, water supply, sewerage, electricity) and decorative plastering of the facade walls were carried out. To eliminate heat loss, a new boiler room was added to the building of the Rest House, where two solid and liquid fuel boilers were installed. Landscaping and fencing of the area have been completed.

 Nearby is an administrative building with an area of over 430 sq.m., where seven offices are open for engineering, technical and administrative employees of the Saryozek depot, a technical classroom and an office for the depot duty officer.
