Additional Talgo trains will be launched between the megacities of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent

Since December of this year, Passenger Transportation JSC has been launching two additional Talgo trains No. 101/102 Astana-Almaty and No. 111/112 Astana- Shymkent on the most popular routes among passengers. These routes have been introduced as part of the "package" train schedule. Tickets for additional trains will be available 45 days before the start of the trip on the website bilet.railways.kz and at the ticket offices of Passenger Transportation JSC at railway stations. 

Last year, 4 trains were introduced on the Astana-Shu-Astana section according to the "package" schedule. This approach allows to significantly increase the efficiency of trips and improve the availability of passenger services.

The “package” train schedule is being implemented within the framework of the “Intermodal Transportation – HUB Systems” project in cooperation with DB E&C.

“Together with Passenger Transportation JSC, we are developing innovative solutions to optimize the route network, which will improve the quality of passenger service and increase the speed of travel between major cities in Kazakhstan,” said Nikolajs Sidorovs, Chief
Intermodal Transportation Officer at DB E&C. 

In addition, they are considering creating a new railway route network based on the principles of creating convenience for passengers, taking into account the development of suburban transportation and combined modes of transport in HUB centers.
