About 84 thousand railway workers participated in the "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign

84 thousand railway workers from all over Kazakhstan took part in the large-scale republican environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, over 8 months of this year. These are employees of KTZ - Freight Transportation LLP,
Passenger Transportation JSC, Aktau and Kuryk ports, Vagonservis JSC and KTZ branches - Track Diagnostics Center and Trunk Network Directorate.

The railway workers brought over 1 million square meters of administrative, household and industrial facilities into an aesthetic appearance. More than 30 tons of waste (paper, plastic) were collected. 5.4 tons of batteries were recycled. Over 4 thousand seedlings have been planted on the territory of administrative, domestic and production facilities.

Employees of the Aktau seaport took part in a clean-up day in the village of Umirzak and in an environmental campaign organized by the Akimat of the Mangystau region to collect garbage on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Employees of the Kuryk port organized a large-scale clean-up of the territory of the sacred necropolis "Masat-Ata", located in the Mangystau region, 20 km southeast of the village of Ushtagan.

The branch of KTZ - "Track Diagnostics Center" held 11 clean-up days to improve and green its territory: the gates and fence were painted, curbs were whitewashed, benches, a gazebo, street lamps were installed. Indoor plants decorated the premises of the administrative building of the branch.
