In the first half of 2023, 69 thousand passengers bought train tickets thanks to the “Waiting List” service on the website bilet.railways.kz.

The “Waiting List” service allows a passenger, if there is no ticket on sale, to stand in line no earlier than 7 days and no later than 2 hours before the train’s departure. When free seats become available, the passenger receives information about the need to purchase seats in his personal account, as well as a notification via SMS.

This service operates on the website bilet.railways.kz, and can also be used at the ticket office free of charge.
