77% of train tickets sold online

About 19 million tickets for travel on passenger trains were sold in 2023, which is more than 750 thousand more than in 2022. At the same time, the share of online sales was 77%.

Without commission, you can purchase an electronic ticket on the website bilet.railways.kz. Here you can also use the “Waiting List” service, which allows a passenger, if there is no ticket on sale, to stand in line and, if a vacant seat becomes available, to buy a travel document. In 2023, more than 170 thousand tickets were sold through the Waiting List.

The service can be used on the website bilet.railways.kz or at the ticket offices of Passenger Transportation JSC.
