The 6th Industrial Safety Forum was held at KTZ

The 6th Industrial Safety Forum was organized to discuss current issues of occupational safety and the introduction of new technologies to prevent industrial injuries. The forum was attended by representatives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Austrian Railways, KEGOC JSC, WABTEC, as well as management, occupational safety specialists and members of the Board of Directors of KTZ.

The forum discussed the importance of preventive measures and their role in reducing industrial injuries. It was noted that KTZ's process and activity management system with professional risks complies with the requirements of the ISO 45001 certificate.

Special attention was paid to the issue of the human factor and its impact on industrial safety. In KTZ, more than 50 thousand workers are employed in difficult and harmful working conditions. About 80% of industrial incidents are associated with human errors. In this regard, improving the qualifications of personnel and developing a safety culture have become priorities for the railway industry.
 

To form the right psychological attitude towards a responsible attitude towards one's own health and safe work in teams, trainings are conducted by internal trainers - employees who have received industrial injuries at the Company's enterprises. Such trainings are held systematically and are becoming an important part of the corporate safety culture. At meetings, practicing trainers emphasize the importance of observing precautions and safety measures in order to avoid tragedies in the workplace. These meetings become a powerful reminder of how important it is to comply with safety standards at every stage of work.

Also in 2024, as part of the employee training program, various events were organized, including development programs for employees of the Main Line Directorate "Uzdikter Alany" and the wagon department. One of the significant projects was the mobile school "Bilim Expressi", which provides training courses for line-level employees.

The forum on industrial safety ended with an award ceremony for specialists who distinguished themselves in the field of safety and labor protection.

The event included an exhibition of the latest achievements in the field of occupational safety and health. Forum participants were introduced to technical solutions, personal protective equipment (PPE), medical equipment, and new VR technologies.
