During the Year of Working Professions, declared by the Head of State, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, the Kazakhstan Industry Trade Union of Railway Workers, and the Astana City Akimat (Mayor's Office) implemented the project "Career Guidance Tours for Schoolchildren and Students of Astana."

As part of the event, over 1,200 children—students in grades 7–11 and college students—visited the Central Railway Transport Museum. The museum welcomed approximately 100 participants weekly. Tours of various formats were organized for the children, including thematic quizzes and interactive activities.

"The tours help children gain a better understanding of the railway industry, see the work of our specialists, and become familiar with modern technologies and the opportunities for their future professions. This work is particularly important in the context of the state's goal of popularizing working professions and developing technical education." Meetings with industry representatives help young people develop a clear understanding of the role of industrial professions and open up new horizons for professional growth," noted museum director Akmaral Moldasheva.
