KTZ and KazMunayGas have switched to automated data exchange to improve transparency in the petroleum products market

As part of the implementation of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan's instruction to digitalize petroleum product circulation, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and JSC NC KazMunayGas have launched a rapid data exchange.

This joint effort aims to ensure continuous, timely, and transparent monitoring of the domestic deployment of railcars carrying petroleum products, as well as the volume of petroleum product imports.

KTZ's branch, the Main Computing Center, has implemented an alternative technical solution for transmitting data from KTZ's information systems. The technology used ensures a high level of confidentiality, integrity, and uninterrupted transmission.

KMG currently receives real-time operational data, including hourly information on the deployment of railcars carrying petroleum products within the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as daily information on petroleum product import volumes.

The parties agreed to ensure the uninterrupted provision of information, which will contribute to improving the efficiency of the country's fuel balance management.
