During the holiday season, the country's rail transport operates 24/7, regardless of weekends and public holidays. Industry employees ensure the smooth and reliable transportation of passengers and freight, as well as the stable operation of the rail infrastructure.

Many railway workers will be on the move to celebrate the New Year, ensuring train service and passenger safety.

On New Year's Eve, 1,685 freight train drivers, 357 passenger train drivers, and 698 utility and shunting train drivers will be on duty.

A total of 122 ticket offices of JSC Passenger Transportation will be open at railway stations during the holidays, 40 of which will be open on the night of December 31-January 1.

On New Year's Eve, 81 train crews and over 1,600 conductors will be on duty.

Along with train crews, station attendants, information desk staff, traffic control center dispatchers, track fitters, and other specialists will continue to serve throughout the holiday night. Their coordinated work ensures the safety of train operations, cargo security, and order on the railway.

On December 31, railway workers will greet passengers with a Happy New Year at stations and on trains. For many industry workers, celebrating the New Year at work is a professional tradition. Despite the holiday, they remain on duty, ensuring the reliable operation of the railway and the comfort of passengers.
