Coal exports by rail have increased by 14% since the beginning of the year

Over 16 million tons of coal were exported via the KTZ network in the first half of 2025. This is 14% or 2 million tons more than in the same period last year.

The most noticeable growth was shown by deliveries to India and Turkey - export volumes to these countries doubled, amounting to 1.4 million and 1.6 million tons, respectively. Deliveries to Kyrgyzstan also increased by 24%, to 280 thousand tons, and to Russia by 8%, to 11.8 million tons.
