Investment activities of “National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, JSC are aimed to implement a set of measures ensuring a sustainable operation of railway transport and improving the quality and safety of transportation services.

 

In 2022, capital investments of “NC “KTZ”, JSC amounted to 373 116 million tenge. In the reporting period:

 

• Construction of the second tracks of the  Dostyk - Moiynty railway transit corridor began.
• Repair of 551 km of track bed.
• Locomotives: 76 units purchased and 54 units repaired.
• Freight wagons: 457 units purchased and 716 units repaired.
• Passenger wagons: 67 units purchased and 58 units repaired.
• Measures aimed at updating the railway infrastructure and improving traffic safety were implemented.
