Service areas are provided for the provision of services to passengers and visitors:
- Ticket offices (there are 9 ticket offices in total, all ticket offices are located on the 1st floor of the station building. Of the 9 ticket offices, 1 ticket office is specialized for wheelchair users).
- Waiting rooms (in the station building there is a cash waiting room with 20 seats on the 1st floor and a waiting room on the 2nd with 80 seats. There are places for wheelchair users in the waiting rooms).
- Information desk (information desk on the 1st floor of the station building).
- Luggage storage (luggage storage on the 1st floor of the station building).
- Medical center (medical center on the 1st floor of the station building).
- Sanitary units (sanitary units on the 1st floor of the station building).
- Shopping boutiques and catering areas (on the 1st floor there is a store selling haberdashery products, payment terminals, vending machine, advertising banners, ATMs, pharmacy, on the 2nd floor there is a store selling printed products and press, selling accessories to cell phones, catering points, also on the railway platform the station has facilities for commercial premises for the sale of consumer goods).
- Recreation room, mother and child room (recreation room, mother and child room for transit passengers is located on the 2nd floor of the station building with 8 rooms (total number of seats - 24), in each room the number of seats is two-four-six seats. All rooms are equipped with beds with orthopedic mattresses, a table with chairs for eating, wardrobes, bedside tables, TVs, climate control. There is a shower room, a laundry room with one washing machine and a clothes dryer, an ironing room and a toilet. In addition, a cabinet for storing personal belongings is provided for the safety of visitors' property. The recreation room has a fire extinguishing system and video surveillance, is equipped with fire extinguishing equipment, and a plan-scheme of evacuation of people during an emergency is also placed on the walls of the recreation room.
To improve passenger service, a wireless Internet point with WI-FI Internet access has been installed at the station.
Parking spaces
There are parking spaces on the forecourt, which are under the jurisdiction of local executive bodies.
The following conditions are provided for the service of persons with disabilities and low-mobility groups of the population at the Taraz railway station:
there are places for wheelchair users in the waiting rooms;
a wheelchair for persons with disabilities is provided free of charge;
a specialized induction panel for hearing-impaired passengers is installed in the information desk;
tactile mnemonic that allows the blind to receive preliminary information about the studied space;
tactile track;
there is a call button to call the station staff to assist at the entrance to the station building;
pictograms;
there is a parking place for disabled cars on the forecourt;
ramps have been built in hard-to-reach places (from the side of the city and the platform, inside the station building);
Safety:
In order to strengthen measures to ensure the protection of the building and the territory of the station, as well as to prevent terrorist acts and ensure the safety of passengers, employees of the security unit and employees of the LOP are on duty at Taraz station around the clock.
To ensure security, the following is provided:
automatic fire safety system;
video surveillance system of the station building platform with screen output to the control panel;
inspection equipment is installed - 2 (two) sets of inspection equipment, of which 1 (one) from the city side and 1(one) from the platform side.
