Service areas are provided for the provision of services to passengers and visitors:
Ticket offices: there are 4 ticket offices in total, all ticket offices are located on the 1st floor of the station building. Of the 4 ticket offices, 1 ticket office is specialized for wheelchair users.
Waiting rooms: in the station building on the 1st floor there is a cash waiting room with 80 seats and a waiting room on the 2nd with 100 seats. There are places for wheelchair users in the waiting rooms.
On the 1st floor of the station there are: information desk, luggage storage, medical center, sanitary units.
Shopping boutiques and catering areas are installed on the 1st floor; a haberdashery store, payment terminals, ATMs, a store for the sale of printed products and press, the sale of accessories to cell phones, on the 2nd floor there are catering outlets.
The recreation room, mother and child room for transit passengers is located on the 2nd floor of the station building with 10 rooms (total number of seats - 24), in each room the number of seats is two-four-six seats. All rooms are equipped with beds with orthopedic mattresses, a table with chairs for eating, wardrobes, bedside tables, TVs, climate control. There is a shower room, a laundry room with one washing machine and a clothes dryer, an ironing room and a toilet. In addition, a cabinet for storing personal belongings is provided for the safety of visitors' property. The recreation room has a fire extinguishing system and video surveillance, is equipped with fire extinguishing equipment, and a plan-scheme of evacuation of people during an emergency is also placed on the walls of the recreation room.
The following conditions are provided for the service of persons with disabilities and low-mobility groups of the population at the Shu railway station:
there are places for wheelchair users in the waiting rooms (a wheelchair for people with disabilities is provided free of charge);
a specialized induction panel for hearing-impaired passengers is installed in the information desk;
tactile mnemonic that allows the blind to obtain preliminary information about the studied space;
tactile track;
there is a call button to call the station staff to assist at the entrance to the station building;
pictograms;
ramps have been built in hard-to-reach places (from the side of the city and the platform, inside the station building).
Safety:
In order to strengthen measures to ensure the protection of the building and the territory of the station, as well as to prevent terrorist acts and ensure the safety of passengers at the Shu station, security officers and LOP officers are on duty around the clock.
To ensure security, the following is provided:
automatic fire safety system;
video surveillance system of the station building platform with screen output to the control panel;
inspection equipment has been installed - 3 (three) sets of inspection equipment, of which 2 (two) from the city side and 1 (one) from the platform side.
