The information technology development strategy of the National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC (hereinafter referred to as the IT Strategy) covers the planning horizon from 2022 to 2026.

IT Vision: IT is an integral part of the Company with a single management center. IT ensures the provision of modern IT services to business units in accordance with the best practices of the railway industry, innovations and new technologies.

IT mission: To increase the degree of integration, standardization and unification of IT systems and infrastructure, as well as their modernization, to increase the efficiency and efficiency of business processes aimed at the sustainable development of the Company and subsidiaries.

Objectives: identification of strategic directions of IT development, approaches aimed at developing IT solutions, tools that contribute to achieving the Company's strategic goals.

Directly, the achievement of the goals of the IT Strategy will be ensured through the implementation of a specific set of projects that are reflected in the Roadmap for the implementation of the IT Strategy.

IT principles:

• orientation to the needs of the Company's business units - internal users;

• customer orientation – taking into account the interests of external users;

• ensuring fair competition between different IT solutions, taking into account the effectiveness of the technologies used and the required resources;

• standardization of technologies and equipment used;

• application of proven technologies;

• development and maintenance of internal competencies and IT expertise;

• centralization of decisions on the implementation of IT projects through their consideration by the Company's IT Council.
