A new 140-seat kindergarden has opened in the city of Zharkent, Jetisu region. The facility was constructed by JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" in cooperation with the Akimat of the Jetisu region and with the assistance of "Temirzhol Zhondeu" LLP.
This social infrastructure project was implemented as part of the modernization of the Altynkol – Zhelygen railway line.
The new kindergarden is a modern two-story building with a total area of over 2,000 square meters, featuring fully landscaped grounds. The building is equipped with elevators for people with limited mobility, boasts a modern interior design, and all premises are fully furnished.
The main construction and assembly works were completed on May 20, 2026. Currently, the necessary documentation is being finalized to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the children.
The development of social infrastructure in the regions where railway projects are located is a vital component of the ongoing efforts to modernize the country's transport industry. The delivery of such facilities helps improve the local population's quality of life, creates a comfortable social environment, and aligns with the objectives set by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to advance Kazakhstan's transport and transit potential alongside the comprehensive development of territories involved in large-scale infrastructure projects.
The opening of the new kindergarden serves as another example of how the implementation of major transport projects contributes not only to the expansion of the transport network but also to the creation of much-needed social facilities for local residents.
