JSC NC KTZ IN THE UNESCAP

JSC NC KTZ, at the invitation of the authorized body of the Republic of Kazakhstan, takes part in the work of the Regional meeting on the harmonization of rules and regulations on the facilitation of international rail transport, groups on the Intergovernmental Agreements on «Dry Ports», on the Trans-Asian Railways network, as well as in a group of experts on the legal framework for multimodal transport in the Asia-Pacific region.

In 2021, with the assistance of the UNESCAP Transport Committee and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the railway administrations of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran on the implementation of the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway corridor, and a Permanent Working Group was created to resolve issues on the development of the corridor.
