JSC NC KTZ IN THE SCZT
On March 20, 1992, by the decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth member states, the «Regulations on the Council on Railway Transport of the Commonwealth member states» and the «Regulations on the Directorate of the Council on Railway Transport of the Commonwealth member states» - its executive body were approved.
A member of the Railway Transport Council is the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a railway transport management body.
In turn, JSC NC KTZ represents the interests of the railway industry in accordance with the powers delegated to it.
JSC NC KTZ takes part in meetings of the Council, which are held twice a year (as a rule, in May and October).
Within the framework of the Council's activities, the technological unity of the railway network, the coordinated development of infrastructure and tariff policy of the railways of the member states of the Commonwealth are ensured.
Railway organizations have created and approved by the Council regulatory and technological documents necessary for the operation of railway transport in interstate traffic.
Participation in the Council contributes to the further strengthening of the main interstate transport and economic relations of the countries participating in its work. Significant volumes of transit cargo are also transported by rail between Europe and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf.
To resolve current issues of railway transport, prepare issues for consideration by the Council, JSC NC KTZ participates in the work of commissions, working and expert groups (working bodies of the Council), meetings of authorized representatives of railway administrations.
