Cargo turnover of JSC NC KTZ since the beginning of 2017 grew by 9.9%

Loading from January to November 2017 increased by 8.2%. At the same time, grain loading increased by 19% (in relation to the plan of applications), including 61% in the country to the plan, in export - by 5% to the plan. In the reported period, flour was loaded 2.7 million tons, which is higher than the plan of applications by 15% and 2% - in 2016. Of these, 3% more compared to last year's figures shipped to Kazakhstan consumers and 2% - for export.

On November 28-29, delegation of JSC NC KTZ headed by the vice-president for development of the Company Maksat Kabashev took part in the Tbilisi Belt and Road Forum (Georgia).

Maksat Kabashev, who spoke at the panel session "New Gateway for Opportunities", noted the great potential of Kazakhstan for the development of transit transportations and emphasized the role of JSC NC KTZ in the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Transit and Multimodal Transport.






The first container train which delivered the Kazakh grain to the Turkish Mersin is coming back

November 28, container train arrived from Mersin (Turkey) which was send from Kokshetau station to the Mersin port via new railway Baku-Tbilisi-Kars.

As it was informed earlier, in the beginning of November from the Kazakhstan station Kokshetau the container structure train with the tared grain consisting of thirty 20-foot containers belonging to JSC NC KTZ went to Mersin. The train covered a distance of 5,435 kilometers in 10 days, passed through the ferry port Kuryk - Alyat port in the Caspian Sea, then on the newly Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.






Railway administrations of Kazakhstan and Belarus create conditions for the transit of goods along the PRC-EU-PRC route

November 29, the head of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Kanat Alpysbaev held negotiations with the head of the Belarusian railways Vladimir Morozov within the framework of participation of the Belarus-Kazakhstan business forum in Minsk.

During the meeting, prospects for further development of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics were discussed.

The parties emphasized the creation of favorable conditions for the development of transit container transportation in the direction PRC-EU-PRC.






Volume of railway traffic will increase on the route China-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran

Representatives of the railway administrations of Kazakhstan, China, Iran and Turkmenistan held a quadrilateral meeting in JSC NC KTZ, Astana.

During the talks, the issues of establishing competitive tariffs for cargo transportation along the route China-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran (CKTI) were discussed.

The meeting participants spoke in favor of the organization of a regular container service on this route.






JSC NC KTZ built the second track on the railway line Almaty-Shu under the program "Nurly Zhol"

On November 27, a second track was opened on the Almaty-Shu railway section and an overpass through the railway on the Almaty-Chemolgan highway. The project was implemented on behalf of the Head of State in the framework of the program "Nurly Zhol".

The head of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Kanat Alpysbayev, deputy akim of Almaty region Aidarbek Baizhanov, and representatives of construction organizations, veterans and workers of transport sector took part in the solemn ceremony which was held at Aksengir station.






Heads of railway administrations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan agreed in Tashkent to improve the efficiency of the transportation process

On November 24, 2010 in Tashkent, the head of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Kanat Alpysbaev held talks with the first deputy chairman of the board of JSC Uzbekistan Temir Yullari Akbar Shukurov on further development of cooperation in transport and logistics.

During the meeting, issues of increasing the efficiency of the transportation process, the use of rolling stock, accelerating its turnover, reducing the idle times of wagons at interstate border points were discussed.






Railway workers supported colleagues

Commodity cashier Aizhan Tanova and train composer Izbasar Augustov are working at the station Zhinishke of Aktobe branch of the road.

This year they were left homeless. The house and all the property of A. Tanova burnt to the ground, the housing of I.Avgustov suffered from floods.

An activist of the local trade union organization Sara Bizhanova said that "no one in the team was left behind and did everything possible to render all possible assistance to their colleagues."
