Issues of efficient use of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) discussed in Kiev
April 11, the heads of the railway administrations of Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia K. Alpysbaev, V. Balchun, D. Gurbanov, M. Bakhtadze met with Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman in Kiev.
During the meeting were discussed issues of increasing cargo flows between countries, efficient use of the potential of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
The parties agreed to continue work on expanding the geography of cooperation within the framework of the TITR project to extend the route and enter the EU countries.
Creation of favorable conditions for users of transport services will improve efficiency, increase the competitiveness of the corridor. In particular, the provision of a range of services to carriers in the single-window mode, the expansion of the range of proposals for them, the optimization and unification of mandatory procedures for the transport of goods.
In addition, the issues of the development of the TITR infrastructure, the increase of transit cargo flows along the international transport corridors "West-South" and "North-South" were discussed.
